If I could sum up in a simple thought why I do the work that I do, I would say that I love to create art. The more that I create, the more I feel an expression of my thoughts have made an impression on someone else for the good. I enjoy creating art in many different mediums, such as oil, watercolor, color-pencil, pencil, pen and ink, digital, audio, and video. As a multimedia artist, I hope to continue to create works that help to convey a positive message and maybe inject a little humor in there too.

When developing a project, I want to get inside the head of the person who will be the audience of the work. What will bring the message to them the best possible way? A poster? An interactive DVD? A web site? A podcast? What colors will stand out that support the message? What should be said, and how will you say it? This formula is used on every project that I'm able to squeeze out.

I continue to explore more of the digital world of art and multimedia. Videography and interactivity are other areas that I want to dive into and learn more about. But the one thing that I have learned is not to give up creating.
